A few gallons of paint can cost less than $50 and totally revamp your entire home.  From a new bright white paint to brighten things up to the popular statement walls that are bold reds, blues or greens it is easy to paint rooms to change the appearance of your home.  A weekend of work can give you a totally new and fresh feel.  Paint covers up dirt, issues, and changes how a room feels in no time.

Change your baseboard or crown molding. Changing out your baseboards, or simply adding ones when you haven't had them before can totally change the look of a room.  Doing the same with crown molding can make a room look elegant in no time at all.  Even changing the color of the baseboards or crown molding can help make the room feel different.  A brighter color of white or a great accent color makes everything look different.
